“Expenses” to write in, “Summary” to read. Nothing to build or configure.
Category dropdowns
Food, Groceries, Transport, Utilities, Subscriptions and Other. You pick from a list instead of typing, so the summary doesn't break because you wrote “Grocery” one day and “Groceries” the next.
Payment method
Cash, card, wallet or transfer. It's the column that ends up explaining where the money went that never showed on your statement.
Automatic summary
Total per category, how much each one weighs on the month, and the overall total. The formulas are already in place.
400 rows, already formatted
Currency format, real dates and filters from the first row. Enough for well over a year.
How to use it
- 1Download it and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
- 2Delete the eight example rows and start writing your own.
- 3Check the “Summary” sheet at the end of the month. The formulas are the one thing worth leaving alone.

Your spreadsheet will last three weeks.
